Charles Summary

Laurie got admission in the Kindergarten School at the age of five year where another student Charles was also present who was a mischievous boy. Laurie started telling his parents about Charles's mischief. Each day when he returned home he brought a new report about Charles. He used to tell about the different movements of Charles which he had done in the class room. Charles yelled in the classroom, Charles hit or kicked the teacher. Charles hit a boy and made him cry or he made a girl say a bad word twice or he himself uttered bad words in the classroom.

One day Laurie told his parents what Charles was behaving well in the class and he was also helping his teacher with her work. Laurie told so much about Charles to his parents that they were eager to met Charles's mother. They wonder how Charles's mother managed such a mischievous boy. Once a parent-teacher meeting was called in the School then Laurie's parents expected to meet Charles's mother.

However they were surprised to know that there was no Charles at Kindergarten. It was Laurie who made some problems for the teachers but after-wards he behaved well. Laurie created a character of Charles and expressed his inner desired in the character of the Charles.
