Briefly tell me the definition of stakeholders ? 

Stakeholders are anyone who has an interest in the project. A stakeholder can be an individual or an organization that is actively involved in the project, or their interests may be affected as a result of project execution or project completion. For a success requirement gathering phase, it is important to keep into consideration all the stakeholders and involve them in gathering the software requirements.

For a software project, below are the four most important stakeholders. These are:

1. Those responsible for design and development.
2. Those with a financial interest, responsible for its sale or purchase.
3. Those responsible for introduction and maintenance.
4. Those who have an interest in its use.
