What is

  • Complete Disjoint
  • Complete Overlapping
  • Partial Disjoint
  • Partial overlapping

A disjoint relationship means that an entity from the superclass can belong to only one of the subclasses. And Overlap means that an entity from the superclass can belong to more than one subclass. The reverse is called partial disjoint and partial Overlapping.
