Medium of Zong, Telenor etc

Medium is the physical path which data use to travel from one entity to an other and Protocol is the agreement between the two devices. If I give the example of Mobile as a Medium and Network like Mobilink, Zong, Telenor etc is the Protocol. Is it true example ?

When we are talking about mobile devices communication then in this case mobile will be the sending/receiving entity. It will use air (radio waves) as medium. Telenor, Mobilink etc. are the telecommunication service providing companies like ISPs in internet not the protocols.
