What is Data Communication?

Data Communication refers to exchange of data between sender and receiver using a transmission medium. Data is transferred in the digital form (0,1). Sender and Receiver refers to computer or any device capable of sending and receiving data whereas transmission medium refers to physical cable or wireless medium through which data can be transferred from one place to another.
