Do you think large organization should hire profession Software Engineers (Masters in Software Engineering) , who will take care of all SRS documents of an organization? Development of new Integrated systems etc?
SRS or other documentation is task of content writer/technical writer. Which is normally a separate designation in software development sector. But it is not a standard rule because any other developer or programmer can perform the task. It is not necessary to hire software engineer only. Software engineer (SE person) and computer scientist (CS person) both are eligible to do this work. Hiring in large organizations is mostly done by focusing the experience and expertise of a person. Where integration of systems is task of programmers.
