Why intersection not include in ?

In five basic operations of relational algebra selection, projection, union, set difference and Cartesian product are given. Why intersection is not added in this list of operations of relational algebra?

These five are very basic mathematical operations which can easily map into the relations, INTERSECTION fall into the Set operations category and all DBMSs have this operation.
