If the user requirement is complete and covers all aspect of the required software; and the software delivered to customer has cleared all test cases and quality criteria; then most probably user will be happy and satisfied with the software; at this stage the development is complete, software has been handed over to the customer, payment made and contract is closed; now what maintenance will be required in this case which will cost 2/3 the development cost of the software? Kindly elaborate what maintenance is usually required which costs soo much? if user requirement is complete then it already addresses all aspects and user don't intend to add any additional feature in the software. Kindly clarify.
