The property of microwave signal is they only work line of sight. For example base towers/stations of cell phone companies are placed line of sight but what about connection of tower and mobile phone, is it also microwaves? or signals of wifi router to laptop? What type of signals are these called?
The waves of WiFi, mobile are radio waves. The antenna of these devices radiates the waves in all direction, so that they can be received at nearest available receiving device.
