What is differentiate b/w promotion mix and marketing mix?

Marketing mix focuses upon all the activities of marketing whereas promotion mix focuses upon only promotion activities which are one of the components of marketing mix. The four major component of marketing mix are product, price, promotion and place. The components of promotion mix are advertising, sales promotions, Managing events and experiences and managing public relations.
