How the data is converted into packet and transmit through signal/waves into other computer

Dividing messages into fixed length chunks is called as Packetizing. This process is performed by a Transmission Control Protocol of Network Layer.
Transmitter converts the digital data into electromagnetic signals which are traveled over a communication medium.
