OSI Model Data Link Layer

Data link layer receive data from Network layer and convert it in FRAMES and transmit those frames to Physical layers. Please educate me that at receiving side when data link layer receive data, it gives data to network layer in form of frames or otherwise. cause if it gives back data to network layer in form of frames then how would it possible for network layer to arrange it.

As data link layer provides in general, service to the network layer. The network layer wants to be able to send packets to its neighbors without worrying about the details of getting it there in one piece. So Data link layer at receiver ends removes information for its own use (error check bits, start bit, stop bit etc.) from the frame and then it became suitable to be delivered to network layer (packet form).Then it is delivered to network layer for its further processing
