What is stakeholder and its role in organization
A stakeholder may be anyone who has an interest or stake in the organization. A company's stakeholders might identify the following stakeholders:
- Employees serve the organization
- Communities provides checks and balances on the organization by reminding organizations of environment protection laws
- Shareholders a shareholder or stockholder is an institution, corporation or individual who legally owns or holds any part of a share or stock in a public or private corporation.
- Creditors provide credit to the organization.
- Investors invest in the organization with a view to earning profits.
- Government
- Customers ultimately buy from the organization.
- Suppliers provide supplies or raw materials to organization.
