What is Semantics?
Semantics: Semantic means the study of meanings of language. It can include words, symbols, signs, phrases etc. Semantic problem occurs when the recipient interpret the information in diverse meaning. For example the meaning of concrete words like cat, book or pen does not vary from person to person. But the meaning of abstract words like justice, accountability or brotherhood can vary from one person to another.
The example you mentioned is a semantic problem. Such a problem can be cleared looking to the context in which it is said.
