How to make search bar thorugh retrieved data from DB

How to make a search bar code through which retrieved data from DB should be click able and after clicking that data, another data can be retrieved from DB.
same as Google search but instead of retrieving web links, I have to retrieve some sort of summary from DB and after clicking on that summary people should be able to see detail of that summary. And all the output should be seen on only one page.
