Jewellery making is an art that is not everyone’s cup of tea. Nowadays jewellery making is much easier than it was in the past. Jewellery making is not an easy process the craftsmen have to work very patiently for hours to complete a single piece. Jewellery making goes through many stages which are defined below;
Extraction of materials for Jewellery making
Mining is the first process to make jewellery. Many materials are used to make jewellery that is naturally present in the earth’s core like gold, silver, platinum and other precious stones. pearls are also extravagant minerals which are found underwater used in the craft of jewellery making. Pearls are made by the saliva of pearl oyster which is a sea animal and they are found in deep water. They live in a shell that is pearl white in colour and you cannot find them easily on a beach trip. Well, all those materials are extracted and make their journey to the foundry.
Moulding of materials
Now the second step is molding these materials and make them malleable to make jewellery they are first heated enough so they can easily mould than these pieces are comprised under heavy metal wheels where they are shaped in thin sheets so they can be easily used to make jewellery after that they goes under big machines or in craftsmen hands to become a jewellery piece.
Cleaning of moulded jewellery
Nows these sheets of minerals are moulded into a single rough outline now these pieces are cleaned by shaking them so that all the dirt and impurities can be removed from them. After that these cleaned pieces are given under big machines or craftsmen to fix the stones or pearls in those moulded pieces.
FITTING OF GEMS IN MOLDS
Another step of jewellery making is fitting in some pearls or gemstones to make it attractive pearls are mostly reserved for necklaces and diamonds are used to make bracelets and rings. These can be fitted by the help of machines or by craftsmen by giving them heat to glue them together and they are turned into a final piece. You can buy bracelets online in Pakistan.
TYPES OF JEWELRY PIECES
Which type of jewellery you are making is also an important step of jewellery making and which type of material will suit that type is also important. There are many types of jewellery pieces such as bracelets, necklaces, and rings which are dearly loved by women. This thinking is very important while you are making a piece of jewellery.
DESIGNERS OF JEWELRY
We should appreciate the designers who design each jewellery piece by using their creativity which everyone cannot do. Everyone cannot have a creative mind like those designers to select a different design for every single piece of jewellery. They have unlimited ideas and designs and own they do hard work day and night is also very appreciable.
INSPIRATION OF DESIGN FOR THE CRAFTSMEN
The design that craftsmen make is always inspired by something it can be the design of a leaf from a tree or it can be a pattern on animal skin or any other object around them is an inspiration for them. The eyes of a craftsman are very sharp they observe everything around them and try to fit them in their design. They have lots of inspiration and designs to make it easier for them to select the right design.
MANUFACTURING OF SILVER CHAINS IN PAKISTAN
Manufacturing of silver chain in Pakistan is also done but on a smaller scale. Silver is extracted from Pakistan that’s why the price of silver chain is not very high here. There are some small factories of the silver chain in Pakistan.
MARKETING OF JEWELRY PIECE
After a jewellery piece is done now its time for its marketing suppose if stock of gold chain is completely manufactured in a factory then it will make its way on to the packaging and dispatching of the stock. This stock is sent to other shops. and that’s how you can easily get the jewellery in stores.
CONCLUSION
So by all that above information we get to know that making jewellery is not easy at all and jewellery is a fundamental thing in peoples lives and they have made it a part of their life and culture we live in a society that now no matter how much we evolve something about these precious metals and stones fused together will always have a special place in our hearts as stated by craftsmen “jewellery is like icecream there is always room for more”
