Ping program on an ubuntu software using pc?

How can I run a ping program on an ubuntu software using pc?

You may use the ping in the same way as used in windows. It works the same in Ubuntu as it does in any Windows or Macintosh system. All you have to do is open a terminal or console in your applications menu and type "Ping" and the website or IP address. The command format is given below,

      Ping -c 4 google.com

-c option is used to pass how many packets you're sending 4 represents the no of packets
