In next Hop Forwarding destination comp is attached?

In next Hop forwarding if the destination comp is attached with other switch then it forward to next hop.But if a computer want to send some packet to a local computer(i.e on the same packet switch)then how the packet will be forward to that computer?

In packets switching, information flows are broken into variable-size packets (cells as in the case of ATM). These packets are sent, one by one, to the nearest router, which will look up the destination address, and then forward them to the corresponding next hop. This process is repeated until the packet reaches its destination. The routing of the information is thus done locally, hop-by-hop. Switch forward packet based on destination address, if the destination is local computer on same switch then packet switch delivers packet to that specific computer port based on destination address. If the destination is attached another switch, this packet switch forwards to next hop through connection to another switch. Switch in the network read this address and forward packets along the most appropriate path to that destination.
